Carers at Home have been awarded a 3 star excellent rating (the maximum achievable) by the Care Quality Commission.
The inspection report said this of our Company:-
Service users and or their family spoken with all spoke very highly of the service they receive with comments like:
- “the staff actually do care and it shows”
- “out of a hundred percent I would rate them 129%, they are everything I want and need in an agency”
- “they never let you down, even in the snow the management got the girls to us”
- “they have made such a difference to our lives”
- “another said that they have given me my life back”
Service users and families spoken with all said they are not rushed and all staff spend the full time of the call with the service users.
Service users confirmed that they are very much part of the care planning process with their choices and preferences forming a large part of the person centred plan.
The agency sends a list of which staff will be visiting them each week and notify them of any changes. Some service users said they had never known staff to be late, others said they always let us know if they are help up for any reason.
The manager regularly works with each member of staff, both to supervise the staff member and ensure that service users are happy with the service they receive. It was apparent from talking to service users and their families this is very much apprciated by them.
It was very apparent that the agency and its staff are committed, and very proud of the service they pprovide to service users. They continue to look for ways to improve the quality of life for those they care for.
